What hybridAF measures and where everything is. The app scores two sides of your training, strength and engine (your running and cardio), and combines them into one number, your Hybrid Score, where the lower side counts for more. Then the four tabs, the six screens under More, and the shortcuts above the tab bar.
This is a quick tour of hybridAF, what it measures and where everything is, so the rest of these videos make sense. The app tracks two sides of your training, your strength and your engine, which is primarily your running and cardio.
Each side gets a score out of 100, graded against published standards for your age and gender. The two then combine into one number, your hybrid score. The lower side counts for more than that number. Episode 3 shows how to read it.
Along the bottom, there are four tabs. Today is your day, so last night's recovery, a session sized for the time you have, your calendar and your week. Train is where you start in log sessions and where your routines, lifts and records are. Score is your hybrid score and what moves it. And more opens everything else.
More has six screens. Atlas, the coach you can ask questions or give jobs to. Plan, your week. Rivals, the leaderboards and pods. Body, your recovery, sleep and heart rate trends. Calendar and profile for settings, connections and your account.
On the main screens above the tabs, there's a bar that says ask Atlas with a plus next to it. The bar opens Atlas with the keyboard ready and the plus has four shortcuts. Start a session, repeat your last one, find a lift and plan your week.
And so to recap, today for the day, train to log, score for the number and more for the rest. The next video covers setting up and getting your first score.
